YAV Project

YAV Project is an online contemporary art exhibition we developed in partnership with design studio Crude. The platform brings together artists and art enthusiasts in a unique digital space where traditional gallery aesthetics meet modern web technologies.

We needed to create a landing page that would attract interested leads and artists to develop the project. The client wanted a clean site with magazine-style layout, executed pixel perfect from the mockup — a true print publication in digital format. The main challenge was implementing strict column-based magazine-style layout. We wanted to convey the project's uniqueness and craftsmanship through unusual layout, but this approach seriously complicated development. It required deep structural analysis and thorough preparation — ultimately we modified the ClientFirst framework for our needs and created numerous custom utility classes to group layout patterns.

We chose a minimalist approach: monochrome, magazine layout with emphasis on text and images. We wanted to convey the feeling of a paper publication without excessive marketing — that's why the site has only three buttons and links to partner studios. We pushed the native Webflow Grid component to its limits, using grid-area for precise implementation of the design mockup. The 3D gallery integration on the krpano platform was a separate story. We hosted all materials for scene rendering on our own CDN to ensure fast content loading worldwide, and embedded scripts for 3D space control directly into the site.

Our partners received a unique landing page that successfully translates print publication aesthetics into digital. The site works perfectly on all devices — the 3D space is fully functional even on mobile. Performance is impressive: 97 points on PageSpeed Insights ensures excellent user experience and helps with SEO. The project showed how minimalism and attention to typographic details create a special digital space for art.
