Work Culture

Business description
Work Culture is an aesthetic HR special project developed for the Ar agency. Participating brand: VTB Bank. Users are challenged to guess classic paintings based on their homages, which conceal key insights about working at the bank. This presentation natively communicates HR values to job seekers, guiding them to view open vacancies on the career site and participate in a valuable prize draw.

Challenge and objectives
The Ar team developed the copy, visual concept, and design mockup, while our task was to turn these materials into a functional digital product and integrate the analytics system. Unlike standard promo pages, here we faced the challenge of developing a fully-fledged art space. The designer's vision entailed a complex environment simulating museum halls.
The main challenge was the meticulous front-end coding of details — walls, columns, benches, and stucco — which had to adapt flawlessly to any screen resolution. The homage paintings had varying aspect ratios, and the texts differed in length, so we had to rigorously engineer the elements behavior logic to preserve the layout's aesthetics and integrity. Given the client's scale, the release faced maximum demands: uncompromising optimization, launching strictly on deadline, and being 100% ready for sudden spikes in paid traffic.

Concept and work process
The immersion into the storytelling begins from the very first seconds: based on a reference from Ar, we developed an atmospheric preloader that instantly sets the audience up for a gallery aesthetic. For the content section, we utilized an unconventional layout, dividing the screen into three semantic slots: a static header, a central visual zone (where canvases change and progress is displayed), and a bottom interactive panel with text and controls.
The internal quiz logic consists of 346 lines of custom code. We implemented smart content rotation: the algorithm randomly selects 5 out of 10 available paintings and shuffles their display order. This solution made it possible to show each participant a unique set of questions and evenly distribute the impressions of VTB's corporate values.
The project's major technical achievement was our proprietary image caching system: while the user reads the text of the current slide, the script is already downloading the next painting into the device's memory. Since traffic for the special project was predominantly mobile, this solution proved highly critical. We managed to ensure a seamless quiz journey regardless of internet connection quality, protecting the funnel from potential bounces and establishing an excellent foundation for high conversion rates.
To digitize the results, we linked the quiz with Yandex Metrica, configuring 25 trigger events across the entire user journey from the start to the final transition to the career portal.

Results
The project was built and tested in exactly two weeks — in strict accordance with the initial timeline. Thanks to custom preloading scripts and deep layout optimization, the quiz achieved excellent PageSpeed results: a score of 97 on desktop and 76 on mobile devices.
Over the course of the advertising campaign, the project processed 53,300+ views. Technical reliability ensured high user retention: the Ar agency received a flawless execution of their creative mechanics, while VTB gained a powerful tool to draw attention to their HR brand.
